Please allow students to edit and complete labs and pre-quizzes after the deadline and mark it as late. Many professors are allowing students to turn in late work, especially this semester with the pandemic occuring. However, students can't access the material even a second after the deadline. Please change this!
when the reports stop allowing you to complete any more work. If Labflow made a better distinction of these different times, and what they meant to students and instructors, that might help address the concern here. But if students are needing extensions beyond the cut-off dates, something else may still be needed.
I find this issue frustrating most of all. Sometimes students are absent, or even a whole class due to cancellations. Why can I, the teacher, not change grades of students who have not submitted a report past the cut-off date? I can see restrictions being placed on student submissions after the cut-off, but why the teacher as well?
For lab reports, we currently have a due date and a cut-off date. The due date is what is shown on the tiles in the course, and the cut-off date is when the reports stop allowing you to complete any more work. If Labflow made a better distinction of these different times, and what they meant to students and instructors, that might help address the concern here. But if students are needing extensions beyond the cut-off dates, something else may still be needed.
yes
I agree! My professors are happy to let me attempt them late if that's how my schedule works out, but I have to ask them every time, which is just unneccesary.
