I should be able to reset a due date for my whole class - or even several students at once - instead of having to do it one student at a time and one tile at a time or waiting to get ahold of someone at LabFlow. We had a 27 question assessment with randomly generated problems that students had a hard time fininshing in class, but if they were in the middle of it at the end of class, it submitted and gave them zeroes for the rest. Even if I extended their due date afterwards, I had to give them a second submission so they had to start all over with a whole new set of problems. That’s the kind of thing where I need to be able to quickly make a change for multiple students. But I’m told the group overrides can’t just be activated. I’d end up with a bunch of other permission I don’t want, like seeing other instructors’ sections in my gradebook and having access to their students’ grades. That’s just silly. The ability to edit due dates for multiple students at once is standard in things like Sapling (RIP) and Achieve and it should be something that can be added for instructors/TAs without giving us full overlord permissions.
This is a follow up as I believe Brian's comment exemplifies the issues of the guest commenter. The point isn't that the ability to do this exists, it's that the lab coordinator has to go through labflow to do this. The task described does not seem necessary to include labflow as a middle man. In summary, having to go through labflow for this kind of delegation process seems unnecessary.
I was told by my course coordinator that she was told by LabFlow that either we had access to only our own section, with no group override ability, or to all sections with group override ability. There was no option given for group override permission without having access to students in all sections of the course.

There are settings in Labflow to determine who can set user and section-level overrides without giving them access beyond those capabilities. The course coordinator can let Labflow know how they want to set up the permissions for their courses.
