Sometimes instructors ask for students to take a picture of their materials before a lab, or perhaps a lab practical-type exercise where they show a result or a setup. TAs need an image to compare it to.
Also they would like this for providing worked out solutions/sample calculations that TAs can refer to in order to grade submitted student “show your work” calculations photos.
