As and instructor, I would like to have a contingency plan for Fall 2020 in-person lab class cancellation.
As and instructor, I would like to be able to run 50% of my lab course online because we have too many students and not enough lab space
Either way, to solve my needs I would like to be able to pull from a library of lab experiments, with some of them that have online "virtual lab" alternatives to wet-bench data collection, or are ready-made specifically for online.
The definition of "virtual lab" is not limited to solely a Labster or Late Nite Labs-like lab bench simulation experience.
The experiments in the library would be preconfigured with dataflow modules for students to have a typical Labflow data-entry and lab report submission process.
A nice to have would be a choice to have the dataflow modules in 2 options: fully auto-graded and hybrid (data and calculations graded but open-ended questions hand-graded.
