Being able to edit all sections of your lab report

I should be able to edit all sections of my lab report before submitting because just as is done in person, sometimes we notice adjustments we need to make and go back to correct them. I am unable to go back and edit my measurements which is going to make the majority of the section incorrect...which is quite frustrating.

This is an issue I deal with my students, although it happens rarely. Preserve your data in some form like paper or pictures, and then ask your TA to reset your data which is quite simple. You can recorrect your issue and get back to business. If this is right before class, like while you're walking in, you're not doing things right.

If you need to correct data you've entered, contact your TA, and they can reset your report so you can re-enter data.
The reason Labflow does not allow you to go back and change your data is that students have been known to change the data they collected so that the calculated results appear correct.
This does make it frustrating when you enter data you collected incorrectly, and legitimately need to fix a typo.

Not all of us are looking to be scientists. Some of us are just looking to get through Chemistry and Covid-19. As students, doing our lab experiments online is not even remotely close to the having the same experience as doing them in class. I agree with the original poster that we should be able to edit our lab reports prior to submission. Even scientists are human.

Data is data. It should be entered correctly. Scientist do not adjust their data. An instructor can clear your report which will allow you to correct an errored entry. This should be a rare situation. Be careful and enter it correctly.

Yes! I needed to adjust a crucial measurement in the first part of my experiment but couldn't edit it. The majority of the report was based on this measurement, but because you can't edit all sections of a report, the false data can't be corrected.
