This would be useful because having all the labs all together is tricky so by turning the completed labs green or orange when in process it would let us know where we are . The group of people who would benefit from it would be the students because it would help them track where they are and it would help with organization as well.

Definitely agree with the purpose on this, both from a student and a grader in the course.
As we plan on an update to the course page, making it easier to identify what is completed, what is currently open, and what is coming up in the future is something we have identified as important. There are a couple of ideas as to how to best accomplish this, and we have begun experimenting with different approaches. We will be reaching out for user input in the spring as we get further along in our process.
From the grader point of view, indicating the stage of the workflow with an additional color is something we are experimenting with as well.
Or the completed weeks could be moved to the bottom of the site/window. Then they would still be available for those who need to make a lab up. And we wouldn't mess up the beautiful blue color scheme.
