After using this platform over the summer and again this fall, I find there is an assumption that students know how to do these things. It takes several weeks, especially now with our COVID friendly two-week lab rotations before they all can submit correctly and on time. They submit any way they can, but the Labflow grading mechanism is pretty rigid. A PDF is the only file type that can be manipulated in grading. (I encounter many different other file types submitted.) And students generally don't understand what it means to "export an image and insert it as an image in the text field." These issues make a painful grading process even more tedious.
